Para quienes
envíen correspondencia desde
Uruguay, deben adquirir los sellos
correspondientes en cualquier
oficina de correos y pegarlos en el
sobre autodirigido.
Desde Uruguay, lo
más conveniente es remitir la
correspondencia al Instituto
Antártico Uruguayo, antes de
noviembre, a efectos de que la misma
pueda ser enviada a la Antártida en
la campaña de verano que comienza y
vuelta con los matasellos de ese
año.
Para quienes
envíen correspondencia desde el
exterior del Uruguay, se deberán
incluir los sellos correspondientes
al envío, a través del Correo de
Chile, Oficina Postal de Villa Las
Estrellas de la Base Frei.
El costo de envío
de una carta normal desde la Isla
Rey Jorge a cualquier parte del
mundo (a través del correo de Chile)
es de 2 dólares (USD) el cual debe
venir incluido para franquear la
carta.
Los Cupones de
Respuesta Internacional (IRC)
también son aceptados por los
Correos de Uruguay y de Chile.
Los sobres que se
reciban con sellos del correo
argentino, serán matasellados en la
base y enviados a la Base Jubany,
para que los tramite luego por el
Correo Argentino. |

those who send correspondence from
Uruguay, they must acquire
corresponding seals in any Uruguayan
Post Office sticking them on the
self-addressed mail.

you are in Uruguay, the most

correspondence through the Uruguayan
Antarctic Institute, before

Chile) is 2 dollars (US$) which must
be included.
The International
Response Coupons (IRC) are also
accepted by the Uruguayan and the
Chilean Post Systems.
Correspondence self-addressed from
Argentina, will be stamped in our
Station and delivered trough the
neighbor base Jubany to the
Argentinean Post. |
